FAQs
How much do I need to give my dog or horse each day of the Gold Standard herbal blends?
    • Up to 6 kg - 1/8 teaspoon twice daily
    • 6-18 kg - 1/4 teaspoon twice daily
    • 18-30 kg – 1/2 teaspoon twice daily
    • 30-50 kg – 3/4 teaspoon twice daily
    • Over 50 kg and horses – 1 teaspoon twice daily.

These amounts can be safely doubled if required to increase benefits. We recommend starting at a half dose for a couple of days.

Can I use more than one formula at a time? What about other medications or supplements?

Yes, these blends are safe to use together, with other supplements and with other medications.

How do I give the herbs?

The herbs can be sprinkled on top of the food, mixed in or even put in vegetable capsules.

Are these formulas made from ethically derived materials?

Yes, these are ancient formulas that have been modified for modern day use. Before import from the USA, there is a lengthy process to ensure only ethical materials are brought into Australia.

How long do the herbs take to work?

Usually, results are seen in 2-3 weeks.

Should I keep my animal on the herbs long term?

If the herbs have helped your animal, it is good to try and see what dose keeps your animal well. You can try lowering the dose or giving once a day. It is quite safe to keep them on it long term.

Are there any side effects of the herbs?

These are safe hypoallergenic products. If any gut effects, the herbs should be discontinued, and the symptoms should resolve within 24 hours.
